Liquid cooling via stainless steel pipes, which can be brazed onto an aluminum base to ensure high cooling fluid compatibility.
Power Electronics applications require smart cooling to be efficient: when a lot of heat needs to be dissipated and power density is high, using Liquid Cold Plates becomes a must.
The coolant often does not come from a controlled closed circuit, so the risk of aluminium heat sink corrosion must be prevented. Priatherm provides a heat sink design with stainless steel (Inox) pipes brazed onto aluminium plates: fluid can flow freely without issue into the pipe, while the base plate is ideal for housing electronic modules and absorbing heat.
The metal joint between pipe and base is made using brazing technology that guarantees mechanical strength and thermal conductivity.
